Based in Lausanne, Tazmanie supports businesses in structuring and implementing their communications strategies. With a passion for visual identity, advertising and popular culture, our local roots give us a nuanced and in-depth understanding of the culture of French-speaking Switzerland.
Like big kids, we love playing with brands and solving problems – much like taking a Lego set apart and rebuilding it with intellectual curiosity and a high standard of excellence.
Boredom is our enemy. Hence our motto, ‘Never Boring’, which applies just as much to the projects we develop as it does to our day-to-day life at the agency, both amongst ourselves and with you.
This passion for creative leaps, for the idea that gives a campaign its unique character, or for the detail that reveals a brand’s true personality, is part of our DNA.
As craftsmen of images and words, we take pride in a job well done. There is never a ready-made solution: just like yours, every project is unique, and we put our heart and soul into it.

The real value of an idea lies in taking that extra step that gives a concept its power. Yet compromises reached by consensus tend to water down ideas: that’s why we always fight for that extra step – although you’ll always have the final say, of course.
Many of our clients have been with us for years. We like to work with honesty and simplicity. We anticipate questions, concerns and changes, and remain on hand so that you can rely on us over the long term.
We do this job because we’re passionate about it. It therefore follows naturally that we find meaning in it and never deliver work that doesn’t fill us with pride.
Endless meetings bore everyone. We are hands-on people who thrive on taking action. There are never any problems because we are always solution-oriented.
Unexpected issues can arise: we always put our customers first and do our utmost to ensure that their experience with Tazmanie is the best it can be.
In our view, well-being and a healthy work-life balance are essential in creative professions. We therefore create an environment where everyone enjoys coming into the agency and chatting with their colleagues in a very relaxed atmosphere.
We foster a working environment in which everyone is responsible for their own projects and can organise their own schedule according to the requirements. Our team has been close-knit and committed for many years, enabling us to operate with a flat management structure.
AI cannot replace our expertise, our understanding of cultural and social contexts, our intuition, the authenticity we bring to a campaign or brand identity, the accuracy of the artistic direction, or the overall coherence of a project.
Instead, we use it where it can be useful as an LLM: an extraordinary tool for saving time on very time-consuming, low-value-added tasks, allowing us to focus more effectively on strategic issues or those requiring specialist expertise.
Once a project is complete (branding, communications campaign, website, etc.), we like to stay in touch and offer ongoing support. Whether it’s a few chats over a coffee every six months or a closer collaboration, we encourage you to actively and regularly nurture and bring your brand to life across all the communication channels we can recommend.

Founded in 1994, Tasmanie started out as a 360° or full-service agency. The communications sector was less specialised back then, the web was in its infancy, and branding focused mainly on visual identity.

In 2013, following a change in management and in order to keep pace with a more digital era and a more open approach to communication, Tasmanie became TAZ Communication, whilst retaining its full-service positioning.

In 2026, TAZ became Tazmanie and refocused its positioning on communication and branding. The agency underwent a transformation, shedding its furry image to return to a more mature identity – but make no mistake, its beastly DNA is still very much there!
